If the rumor is true, a defense lawyer would embarrass the prosecution when their witnesses are cross examined.

It would end up the Democrat's nightmare, not any Republican one.

On another thread, the report is they found a neighbor who claims he had no idea Valerie was a spy. It doesn't say if the guy actually knew Plame or Wilson.....

Unfortunately, the media is protecting Wilson. The only people telling the truth about his lies are conservative pundits.

I seem to recall learning during the Clinton reign / rain of scandal that unless it is a defendant or his lawyer about that person's testimony, a leak about a grand jury is illegal.

In that case, no leaks ever came from the prosecutor's office as found by Reno so we can perhaps infer it was BC's lawyer "dog-face" (David Kendall), et al.

Personally, I'd love to see media indictments. And whoever talks out of school to the press should be drawn-and-quartered from here on out. There's no excuse.

Maybe so

But I believe there was an article awhile back about a neighbor who knew all about her working at the CIA

Doesn't matter that he lies to the press or through a NYT column, all that really matters if he lied under oath.

I heard on a radio news report today that when/if indictments are handed down...the lawyers/indictees could be notified and told to meet at police/court at a certain time OR...

they can be arrested and handcuffed at a time that they do NOT know about.

If what I heard is true, could you imagine having the police show up at the White House and handcuff Rove, Libby or Cheney???

VERY hypothetical...if Cheney went down (we know he won't)...don't you think the dems COULD regret that, considering Bush is in last term...and Cheney already said he wasn't going to run in 2008.

Actually at the time they were household names, unlike Libby.

Cheney cannot be indicted without litigating the matter to the Supreme Court.

But the jury(s) would be mostly dimz. So they don't care about truth and justice for Pubbies!
Even the judge (Sirica) was biased and NASTY. It was a nightmare.

I'll try to be calm, but it is hard.

Good!

I hope if there are any indictments handed down for any White House people....that Bush goes on offensive and says that he wants to have it adjudicated ASAP....and, offers whoever it is....Harriet Miers, as attorney ..LOL

What possible reason would these neighbors being questioned for at this late date? I thought the indictment letters had already been sent and Rove and Libby were cleaning out their offices. Could this just be a rumor?? *GASP*

You wrote:

Rush was making the same argument today. Except..he left out the part that the NYT and the WP were making these arguments before and RIGHT AFTER 911, while the Bush Administration were planning a response to an attack on our country! I could find plenty of examples by going on Nexus/Lexus. It was probably in the same week after 911...the media was screaming about Sadaam and Iraq!!
I remember thinking at the time, that there would be plenty of time to go after Sadaam..that we needed to go into Afghanistan first and maybe even Pakistan to get control of the nukes in the Islamists hands.
I hate the LSM and the left in this country..they are so transparent. Their hatred for Bush and their own quest for power has clouded their judgement to the point of lunacy.
