Cancun has changed. A lof of migrants have come pouring in to live on the outside and there is a class friction between the rich hotel sector and them.
These people were moved to shelters with overflowing toilets, urine of the floors, no ac, very little water and very little food.
Also the migrants took advantage of the storm and looted the whole place. Mexican authorities were also having tantrums when tourists tried to use the generators to get their cell phones recharged.
Granted these tourists should have known on Tuesday to get out of there. Many of them weren't paying attention and found out too late.
AP's whole goal is to find someone to blame Bush on any story. U.S arranged buses to move tourists to the other side of the coast immediately after the storm. U.S also has arranged for airlines to help u.s tourists out. Enough of the whining about the U.S.
Dolts Stuck On Stoooopid.
The Associated Press was one of the prime movers in the Blame Bush for Katrina strategy, along with many others. They hyped the damage and chaos, the death toll, the toxicity of the floodwaters shortly after the storm.
Let's look at how well the strategy worked.
Bush won't lose a single vote in the next Presidential election.
New Orleans, a Democrat stronghold, is a ghost town and no-one wants to return.
The richest half of the country doesn't want to fund reconstruction efforts in Louisiana, instead preferring to focus on Mississippi.
The Associated Press, along with all the others who tried to blame Bush for Katrina are now working overtime to deny that any of what they initially reported took place and to foster the impression that New Orleans and Louisiana are garden spots, a great place to live.
Nobody's buying that either.
I say let the Libs run their mouths all they want. It's all they're good for, and it makes controlling the House, the Senate, the Congress, the Supreme Court, and the majority of State Governorships much easier for us than if the Liberals were to discuss issues truthfully and intelligently.
Thanks, Dims, keep up the great work!
