Exactly; now however the question that remains is why?

1) Was he overwhelmed by the challenge?
2) Was he unable to delegate the housecleaning chores to others or did he delegate them to incompetents.
3) Did he fail to perceive the threat of hangers ons and moderate democrats in his administration?
3a) if so does he see the left as the enemy of the American people as Reagan did or does he perceive them as able partners as his father did?

Some part of an adequate explanation must lay in these three answers and this question needs to be asked and answered by President Bush and it needs to be addressed by every potential nominee in the 2008 presidential race.
