Nah, if those people really care about being pro-abortion and stuff they're voting Democrat. They want government to be effective, efficient, and shut the hell up while doing it. Pragmatism is the way to reach them. Common sense solutions. If we really believe we have conservative solutions to problems of government, we should be able to sell them to the middle.

I personally do not know one person, democrat or republican, that wants to see Roe overturned. (I am considered a freak in that sense.) A strong social conservative will alienate "suburban" (ie, highly educated, well-off, not super religious) voters. May not matter to most people, but it is a fact.

FYI, I am in the philly burbs.
