Why couldn't President Bush nominate a QUALIFIED liberal, if he insisted on doing so?

There ya go. This woman makes Alberto Gonzales look good, which, I'm afraid, is the strategery, if there is any. We're expecting an Al Baby nomination to follow on the heels of a Miers withdrawal, if there is one.

If you swap Al for Harriet, you will gain in gungrabberosity.

I can guarantee you that the next Hispanic nominee-and rest assured, if another vacancy does open during President Bush's tenure the replacement will be Hispanic-won't be someone like Emilio Garza or Miguel Estrada, and certainly not Manuel Miranda.

LULAC, MALDEF, NALEO and La Raza might love the jurisprudence of Alberto Gonzales, but I certainly don't.
