Wind gusts outside nearing 100 mph, power gone since 5:30 AM.
Fatalities reported.
I've lost one shutter, two more questionable, NE facing window window compromised, I'll be fine if it holds up until the eyes passes.
The eye is about an hour away from me, will pass right over us.
Working on laptop battery and wireless Cingular Internet service.
Wish us luck.
Where are you?
Correction...one fatality reported, not fatalities.
Luis, where are you??
Good luck to you and we ARE praying for you and all of our relatives in Central and Southern Florida. Stay safe.
Bunches.
MSNBC getting a bunch of calls from people freaking out on the East Coast of South Florida.
Hang in there, Luis!
Stay safe Luis.
Luis, my son called. He and Cathy were watching a car floating down the street in Key West. Have heard from my brother the sheriff and don't expect to until tomorrow sometime.
Are you and the family okay? Fatalies in Broward or Dade?
You have my prayers.
I am 150 miles North and we are getting a butt kicking with the winds and horizontal rain nailing the Northeast and East side of my property just like Jeanne. Thank God this Sea Hag Wilma will only be staying for a couple of hours. I could not take this horizontal rain and 70 MPH gusts for 12 hours like with Jeanne and Charley. 4 Hurricanes in 14 months is a bit too much. My new roof is getting a workout.
Good Luck and God Bless.
