MSNBC getting a bunch of calls from people freaking out on the East Coast of South Florida.
Hang in there, Luis!
Looks like the worst is past us right now. Gotta go get on my lootin' boots!
noaa.gov Miami radar showing again.
Huge eye is right in middle of southern Florida and is almost as big as the diameter of the peninsula there.
Stay safe Luis.
Luis, my son called. He and Cathy were watching a car floating down the street in Key West. Have heard from my brother the sheriff and don't expect to until tomorrow sometime.
Are you and the family okay? Fatalies in Broward or Dade?
We're getting tons of rain....
You know one day they'll get hurt. We want to know what's going on... but the theatrics sometimes...
In the past they have whipped people into a frenzy about an upcoming storm... the news shows all the whipping winds... you call your relatives and they're telling you it's still clear there.
I gave up on the Halloween candy ... decided to be smart and am chewing on a slice of whole wheat bread now.
I seriously thought, after the lap dances, that Wilma would turn earlier and head to N.O.. I guess God surmised they'll never get it...
Yikes!
You have my prayers.
When I called my aunt just around 3:30 am ...6:30 am her time she said the hurricane winds were already in Hialeah.
Sunshine Skyway Bridge now closed to all traffic.
Anytime winds hit 40, they usually close the Skyway.
Probably a pretty rough ride on the other bridges across the Bay. Surf is bound to be chopping and spraying up on to the highway approaches to the bridges.
Freaking out how? They didn't leave and are sorry freaking out... or another kind?
Where's Geraldo??
Some looter.
You loot the boots, amateur.
Fox saying for people to watch out for snakes.
Thanks for the heads up, gotta get my 9mm.
