Okay, I'm into the Halloween candy

Ha - malted milk balls are gone, but plenty of nonpareils left here. The Halloween candy will remain intact.

...I'm absolutely amazed that we still have power here in Juno Beach. I'm sure it won't last too much longer, but the fact that it's been on this long is very surprising.

Like Wilkow said on the radio last night, if you see Geraldo you'll know for sure... run as fast as you can.

Anyone else see that due east move between the 7 AM advisory and the 8 AM position estimate? Does any of the imagery confirm that? If so, the exit point might be more southerly than anticipated.

It looks like it is awfully far south and going mostly east at this point. I wonder if it could go out in the Atlantic and come around again?

Yes, I'm clueless...

My malteds are 3/4 gone..plenty of reese's left.

Tornados sprouting all over. Temp dropped 20 degrees, rain and very windy here now in Central FL. Just heard a couple of transformers popping- not sure if that's a sign of things to come.

I turned to CNN about a half hour ago, but am not getting any Anderson Cooper reports from Marco. Is he the only media coverage there?

Tuned in to local news out of Fort Myers, and they are showing some pretty remarkable stuff. Gusts above 100 down there, apparently.

The cold air has reached Punta Gorda. It's around 70 and still partly hurricany on my porch.
