Kofi in 'murder cover-up'
The Sun ^

UNITED Nations chief Kofi Annan was embroiled in another huge row last night after secret changes were made to a report linking Syria to the murder of Lebanon’s ex-PM.

Family members of Syria’s President Bashar Assad were implicated in the killings — but dropped from a printed version of the UN report.

Amazingly, the deletions were spotted when an electronic version was issued by mistake.

Computer experts said the crucial changes were made while the report’s author was meeting Secretary General Annan.

The report alleged Maher Assad — brother of President Assad — plotted the killing of Rafik Hariri and 20 others in a Beirut bomb blast.

The cover-up threatened to overshadow the report’s real findings.

Earlier this year Annan was accused of being involved in the Iraq oil-for-food scandal, when millions of dollars were paid to Saddam Hussein.

On Friday in the US a Texas oilman and two Swiss businessmen were charged over taking kick-backs in the oil fiddle.

Last night Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said Syria could face UN sanctions over the bombing.

And US President George Bush called the alleged Syrian involvement “deeply disturbing”.

Annan later denied any he had any part in changing the report.

That will all come to a screeching halt when the UN has control over the internet, just watch, it's coming folks.

If the Bush Bashers on the left and right, elect $inator Hildebea$t in 2008, you are probably right.

It's a very real possibility even with the present Admin. There is a summit happening next month, I forget where, but this is on the agenda and I'm afraid the US will again cave. JMO.

In spite of all the warnings about GW caving on these things, he has never caved.

If $inator Hilldebea$t is elected, she will do away with our tax breaks, appoint her husband as life long el presidente of the UN, declare the WOT is over, and dismantle our military by executive order right after she is sworn in.

Then Hell on Earth will come down on Americans. That will be just the beginning.

I share your concern about the Beast. We should all be very afraid of her and what will come. The MSM(AKA 'The Enemy 'within) will go full bore to help her get elected.

I was surprised a couple of weeks ago when I was in Denver, most of the women I came in contact with (the ones that only get their news from ABCNBCABCCNN) were ALL convinced that this country needs the Beast.

We all need to support DFU in his pursuit of this threat.

Perhaps a right thinking cabal of nations within the UN can make the necessary changes. Even a small, but powerful group of nations (read purse strings) can insure nothing gets done, if nothing less than a complete UN reformation is not brought about.

Young women and other women who never voted before will vote in record numbers. George Soros will spent 200 milliion dollars. For goodness sakes, they will be busing people to the voting booths.

You are so correct and I fear for this country. These women don't care about politics but when it comes to the Beast that is different and they WILL vote. It's scary. Their entire mantra was Bush is stupid and the Beast is so smart.

"I was surprised a couple of weeks ago when I was in Denver, most of the women I came in contact with (the ones that only get their news from ABCNBCABCCNN) were ALL convinced that this country needs the Beast."

Our DIL, who became a hard right conservative afer 9/11, has been warning us about many of the young mothers she is in contact with locally and around the nation with email re the potential impact of the Bea$t with the young Soccer Mothers.

Our DIL is afraid if the Bea$t via ABCNNBCBS and the rest of the MSM can convince the soccer mothers that she will be strong against terrorism, she could win the election

DIL says that the new TV series "Commander in Chief" with Geena Davis as the new President has been created to show how tough a woman president will be against terror. Of course all types of Clintoonites are working for this show as advisors and more are apparently on the way, like Sandy the one with DoxinSox Burglar.

Oh, now. The UN would never, ever cover up a murder. And they would never rape refugees. And, you know, they would never skin billions off of humanitarian efforts to enrich themselves. And they would never, in a million years, allow Al Qaeda to enrich themselves by funelling money out of the UN Procurement Program.

They just wouldn't do it. Liberals have assured us that the closest thing to God is the UN.

You got it. My daughter in Denver tells me the same thing, her crowd is all for the Beast and she tells me about her effort to convince them otherwise

She says they just don't listen to logic, nothing matters to them and she is a very astute conservative.

I only use MS Word sporadically, so I'm not sure. I think you have the option to save your revisions up to a fairly large number, allowing you to undo corrections in reverse order, or you can set the option so that revisions are discarded when you save.

I know those options are available in WordPerfect, which I use for most of my work.

In WordPerfect, you can also choose to "view hidden code," an option not available in MS Word. For instance, sometimes if you delete an italicized phrase the code to turn italics on and off will still remain, but you can't see it because the italicized words are gone. This sort of detritus is easy to clean up in WP, but harder in MS Word. Most people probably wouldn't realize that all these fragments of code and revision were still there.
