take out a large advertisement in a local newspaper citing dates and articles of previous news reports reminding people of the event

Would that be legal, or are there laws against incitement of racial hatred or such like that would be invoked to stop such an ad?

Fantastic table! (reference, date?)

Note the answers for Lebanon. They've been ravaged by a civil war between Christians and Muslims which cost tens of thousands of lives, and the results are: Christans +/- 91/7, Muslims +/- 92/7 and Jews +/- 0/99 !!

Don't know if I should cry or laugh.

I have no idea about the legality of a political ad in that country. Call yourself "A Concerned Citizen" and make a political action group if needed. Don't say anything negative about Islam in your ad, of course. I'm saying that you could reprint a whole entire article as your ad. Cut out the article, paste it onto a piece of paper, and above it simply write "Is this what Annemarie thinks is justice?"....... or something like that.

I would not doubt that, but couldn't you make the ad informative of the crime but ethnically "neutral"? The crime alone was bad enough to focus attention on the case, the circumstances will become self evident on examination.
