Ah, a website that proves your case, eh? :-)

Let's see.... who is responsible for that website... Becki Donatelli... and what do we know about Becki...

HOCKADAY-DONATELLI

And what do we know about HOCKADAY-DONATELLI

http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:BNyVJ35ZJLAJ:www.publicintegrity.org/527/search.aspx%3Fact%3Dcom%26orgid%3D18%26comid%3D681c+HOCKADAY-DONATELLI&hl=en

Donors to a 527 called "The Wish List"

And what is "The Wish List"?

http://www.thewishlist.org/

Ah, Pro-choice "republician" women... any bells going off yet for all of you single-issue abortion voters who are supporting Miers??

Their money trail:

http://www.publicintegrity.org/527/profile.aspx?act=dir⊂=1&cycle=2002&id=574

Ah, the Donatelli Group appears again... full circle.

Buying Time LLC

Another Pro-choice group..

American Viewpoint

Pro-choice and log-cabin republicans.

California Republican Party

Is that an oxymoron?

Citizens for Corrine Wood

Friends of Barhara Hafer

The New Majority Committee

Pro-abortion, pro-gun-control, pro-minority...

Get the picture yet?

Now why would Becki, who certainly looks pro-abortion to me, be running a website for a stealth SCOTUS nominee who is going to repeal Roe v. Wade?

Doesn't that seem more than a bit odd to you?

Some of you people really need to lay off the koolaid...

How is Donatelli responsible for the CFJ website? I haven't found her name amongst the members yet.

Your link to the money trail indicates that the Hockaday-Donatelli Group, a campaign business that works for both pro-life and pro-abortion Republicans, is the recipient of, not the donor to the Wish List and Emily's List.

Aside from whom owns the domain name and it's .com and .net versions, what do you have to refute the actual article? The founder of CFJ is C. Borden Gray, a member of the Federalist Society. The People for the American Way certainly don't like him.

From http://www.pfaw.org/pfaw/general/default.aspx?oid=11467 :

This time, rather than working on behalf of President Bush’s anti-government tax cuts and privatization schemes, Mr. Gray is helping President Bush pack the federal judiciary with extreme right-wing judges who will be expected to, among other things, consistently decide cases on behalf of corporate interests and against the interests of ordinary Americans. Mr. Gray embodies both prongs of the grand right-wing strategy for drastically reducing the role of the federal government in protecting Americans’ liberties and acting on behalf of the common good – take away the legal authority by packing the courts with states’ rights extremists and take away the financial foundation of the social safety net with massive deficit-inducing tax cuts.

How is Mr. Gray's conservative approach subordinate to the owner of the domain his site is on? I have some skepticism, but Pres. Bush's track record in judicial nominations is consistent, so I'm willing to hear Ms. Miers out. The Senate needs to do its job. Name-calling and misrepresentations are neither acceptable nor useful. It's time to get realistic. We haven't got a justice on the Court now whom hasn't made a bad decision, and we're not going to get one that never will, no matter whom is nominated.
