"A Senator who truly believes in traditional, Constitutional jurisprudence would -NEVER- vote to confirm a Ginsberg. The fact that she got as many votes as she did is another example of the "fighting spirit" and "worth" of the GOP."

I wonder if there is a list of which senators voted for her, and if any of the GOP's gang of 7 did so? Already I suspect Specter and McCain would have.

Nays - Helms, Nickles, Smith [that's all of the NAY votes]
Ayes - Chafee, Grassley, Hatch, Lott, McCain, McConnell, Specter, Stevens, Warner

Those Ayes are GOP that are still in the Senate. There may be others, I picked the names out from memory.
