Boy you got that right. This is going to drive a future stock surge. LEDs could also eliminate the need for more power generators as the energy consumption could be reduced 7% - 14%.

On a more rational note - about 50% of the energy useage in commercial buildings is for lighting.
The Denver Airport has a translucent roof covering to allow natural light into the working space and reduce energy costs.
I've not personally been to the Denver airport, but folks who have rave about the 'ambiance' provided by the natural light.
