Did you hear Rep. Weldon say that LTC Shaffer's Security Clearance was pulled because he "stole" a U.S. Government pen when he was 15yrs old?
I had seen or heard of some supposed misappropriation of something or other and some expense account disputes but not when he was 15. ;-)
Here are the "crimes" that Schaeffer is being "accused" of.
/1/ On a polygraph for a security clearance decades ago, he was asked if he had ever stolen anything. This is a standard "control" question. He replied he had taken pens from a govt office. His father was in the state dept or some other agency. The filthy scum suckers at DIA have dredged up this ancient "confession" to accuse him of "stealing govt. supplies."
/2/ He used his govt cell phone to forward official calls to his voice mail at home. (Unclassified stuff.) They charged him with about 75$ worth of cell calls, even though this was so he could continue official business (unclassified stuff) at home on his own time.
IOW, the scum sucking filthy bastards at the DIA, Clintonistas, are pulling out all of the stops to destroy Schaeffer's reputation.
