No the Conservative Pundits are. This little stab the base in the back temper tantrum over Miers is NOT going to be forgotten or forgiven any time soon. They do NOT seem to realize their whole credibility is riding on this. If Miers is confirmed and turns out to be a solid Conservative Justices, all these Hate Harriet always crowd will have LOST their standing with the vast majority of the base. I hope they feel this little hissy fit they are throwing is worth it. They seem to misunderstand reality. They did NOT make us, WE made them.

Plus, if she is not confirmed, no matter who the next confirmed justice is, when they vote against the Constitution or the way conservatives feel it should be - the pundits better be prepared to be blamed. They'll try and pass it off as GWB's fault but it won't be. All media, including conservative, seem to think that can take activist like stands and, then, never be held accountable ......

I truly feel that they are part of the reason we ended up with Souter, Kennedy, and OConnor. They accepted those nominees because they had conservative credentials and met their judge\academia criteria.
