Sadly, most of the public is "non-engaged" unless they're protesting the killing of "freedom fighters", or protesting in front of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, with signs that now claim sympathy for the plight of the wounded, instead of the "Maimed for lie", or the "Halliburton Guilty of Rape and Pillage" (whatever the hell that means), that they had been carrying since they started in March.
Along with the mock coffins...
How cold and callous does one need to be to demonstrate in front of a military medical facility with flag draped coffins and signs that blame America, and President Bush for the wounded?
Thanks for the ping, thought I was going to forgo the download because of dialup, then remembered I had just installed DSL, then got shafted by "too many people downloading right now". Guess I'll come back later.
Absolutely. As it is, the American people are relying on the MSM for information. And, of course, the MSM is bent on showing our efforts in the worse light. That is leading many to erroneously conclude that the war is a failure. This is just what our enemy wants.
The successful part of the story must be told if we hope to have any sort of support from the American people for this war.
