I know this but I prefer to have short FR posts when others are able to get to the original without logging in. If it is necessary to register to get an article then I think it is proper to post the entire article. I hate registering for access to a left wing publication.
If the source doesn't need excerpts used, why not just copy and paste the whole thing then.
It eliminates the possibility you or others are cherry picking points that are only favorable to your view. Most folks won't click thru to see the whole article anyway.
Part of the reason we find ourselves in the predicament we are in today is folks want short fast solutions without thought to unintended consequences.
These are very important issues we are being ask to make well-informed decisions on.
