Of course. That is why they were "happy" with Meirs. They see her as a soft spot. An easy touch. Bush really let us down with her selection, in lieu of a STRONG, ESTABLISHED, WELL-KNOWN stand-up CONSERVATIVE.

Okay, could it be that Miers is to go to the committee and say "I'm pro-life and I think Roe should be overturned." Surely the dems are not a one issue party and vote against her(sarcasm off)
THEN, we get to see the dems go crazy(ier)and find out who the real conservatives are.
If she wins, great. If not, we will see how the vote will tally.
