I find it interesting that during the Nixon-Ford and Reagan-Bush administrations the New York Times and Washington Post were eager to broadcast every alleged scandal of the CIA whether substantiated or not, but when Novak raises the question of whether CIA played a role in Wilson's trip, the response of the Seymour Hershes and Walter Pincuses et al is to leap to the defense of the fair agent in distress Valerie Plame.

Yes, it's been highly revealing that despite many facts and reasons which suggest the role of various current and former CIA people should be aggressively investigated, the MSM (and most of all NY TImes and WaPo) has been totally AWOL..... they only like CIA scandals that help the hate-America left and that's a FACT.
