My mother, God rest her soul, had a similar experience when she was young.
Apparently her and her sisters got a hold of a Ouija board and began asking it questions.
It was all fun and games until the board told them that there uncle had a girlfriend. (he was married at the time)
She swore to me that there was no way any of them could have known that, but sure enough he was found out to have
a little on the side, and the board even got the name right.

I forget the details, but those boards are not nice. I wonder where they come from originally?

It seems to go back a long ways.

My mom still teases me about this..

When I was like 12 or so, I wanted a Ouija board for Christmas. Literally, I begged for it. Then, a cousin told me how she and her friends had been playing with one and the marker started making figure 8's on the board by itself. That freaked me out, so when I got the Ouija board for Christmas, I didn't open it, and demanded we take it back, because I was terrified of it.

Like I said, she still makes fun of me for it, and I'm 24 now.
