The kid sounds like a complete loser. What an a-hole.

Yes he is a loozer. I hope we don't end up feeling bad for his sorry ass because he retains a good defense lawyer. Maybe ths one will be hard to defend since DH is "one of their own". But the media coverage will be heavy so this sicko will no doubt geta high profile lawyer. Jerry Spence comes to mind. I think he needs the publicity.

Too many things don't add up about this crime. Methinks more than a few shoes will fall before the truth will out.

It wouldn't surpise me if we see a long list of dubiuos lawyers willing to defend this creep.

Heck, it wouldn't shock me if the the murdered woman's husband tried to defend the little s.o.b.

With Lawyers it's always profit above principle.

but I do want to see many high profile lawyers defending his rights on the nightly tv talk shows.....just like they have for Scotty, Micheal, and Robert ....

they're all "law and order" when its one of their own.....just wait and see......

note to lawyers:...there is evil in this world.....as you defend it and let it roam, it will come back to bite you, one way or another....

Does this mean the lawyer and his wife were into marijuana?

Yes, there will be an attorney who will defend this creep. Our Constitution guarantee's him that.

No, I don't think the murdered woman's husband will defend him. He was devastated by this. You dislike the husband and seem to want to blame him for the insanely cruel act of another person.

Your HATE should not make you devoid of compassion. In this instance your cold and heartless sarcasm was totally out-of-line. Despite his politics, the husband is a victim in all of this.

"It wouldn't surprise me if we see a long list of dubious lawyers willing to defend this creep."

Maybe the court should order the "prominent defense attorney" husband (noted for defending the scum of society) to defend this kid?

The defense attorney crowd is a tight little group. Not a one will dare to defend this 16 yr. old. Most likely a public defender will be appointed.

The family lost their daughter to an auto accident two years ago and there will be an attempt to garner sympathy for this guy.

Other than defense attorneys from outside the CA crowd will be willing to go on TV to talk about the case with any honesty at all.

Just my biased opinion.....cause I despise attornies who try to get murderers acquitted.

Well, a defense attorney and friend of Horowitz's has been all over the TV this a.m. demanding that the alleged perp be tried as an adult. Guess it's different when it's your friend/loved one who's murdered.

My guess is that they'll be demanding a quick trial too. Before too much investigating brings out the connection between this 'alleged' murderer and the legal community up there in them thar hills.

My guess is that eventually the IRS will put an end to Horowitz' legal practice.

Did I hear right, on the radio yesterday that the women in question was involved in a criminal court case as a witness, and the judge has declared a mistrial following her death? This has more twists than pretzels.

From the sound of it he's another walking time bomb like the Columbine Kids. Can't wait to find out all about his divorced high-profile Mommy and his absentee High Profile Daddy, and how he was lonely and misunderstood and drug-addled, and within 12 hours they had already begun to call him a "child". One of those hideous Yuppie Girl psychologists-to-the-stars types was on Larry King last night laying the groundwork for the Traumatized Loner defence.

From what I saw on F&F this morning, he stole some credit card numbers and ordered some pot growing stuff and had it delivered to the address of the house being built. They believe he went to see if the stuff had arrived yet when he ran into Vitale. He then bludgoned her to death with some crown moulding.
