The majority, I would guess. But the trumped up Haliburton-Cheney connection is small potatoes compared to what they have planned between now and either Bush's impeachment, or the 2008 election. They're pulling out all the stops now, and the "average Joe" you're talking about will swallow most of the "this administration and their allies in Congress are corrupt" propaganda hook, line and sinker. The Dems pulled out all of the stops during the 2004 election and look where it got them. Have a little faith in the basic intelligence of the American electorate.

Have a little faith in the basic intelligence of the American electorate. You're forgetting just how close both Al Gore and John Kerry came to being POTUS. Intelligent electorates don't flirt with disaster like that.

Have a little faith in the basic intelligence of the American electorate. Sorry. You're askig too much. I'll give you better than even odds that, no matter how the war on terrorism is succeeding, if the economy turns sour, the same electorate that put her criminal, treasonous husband into office twice is gonna put Hillary there in '09.

i have great faith in ourselves . but if charges hit the WH this will be a lot for most digest. i would have more faith if the prez dumps new tone and brings in real lawyers and a flock of hard-nosed and fearless private investigators.
