Indeed, but he's not accused of leaking the information. He's accused of various sundry other things, from the sound of it.
Basically, if he's charged, it sounds to me like he's been victimized by the prosecution.

That's kind of hard because the prosecutor sent a letter to Liddy's lawyer saying that his office would not view such a letter as Obstruction.
Plus, the letter would not be considered material since the judge had already ordered Miller to talk.
So the only charge you have would be conspiracy to obstruct justice and then you would have to prove MR BRD.
good luck.

Among the charges that Mr. Fitzgerald is considering are perjury, obstruction of justice and false statement
Well that's not so bad. Everyone does it. Hell, if Clinton could do it and remain President then I'm sure Rove could do it and remain a mere advisor.

Back in the old days, if you didn't close your html tags (that's what the / in from of the i or u does) to end the formatting, then the ENTIRE REST OF THE THREAD would be in italics, or bold (which is a "b"), or underlining, or 18-point, red font. "Close your tags!" were frequent posts.

How can someone be indicted for "covering up" something that wasn't illegal in the first place?

You have to wonder how these folks can keep a straight face with some of this stuff.

There was a pro forma statement the day Rove testified that he did so without immunity, therefore could be prosecuted at a later date. I don't think Fitz will bring charges against Rove. No comment on Wilson.

OK, at the possibility of sounding ignorant. How can Fitzgerald charge anyone without establishing that Plame was/is an undercover CIA agent actively engaged in an intelligence operation? Doesn't Fitzgerald have to prove that the 'US undercover operation law' has been violated before he can level charges at anyone?
Hello...?

That would be a < p> for 'paragraph.' (without the space)

The entertainment industry is more forgiving than politics...you can be fresh out of rehab for the twelth time if they think you can still sell tickets. How do you explain Marion Barry?

How can someone be indicted for "covering up" something that wasn't illegal in the first place? I've thought from the beginning that this was the ploy. If I can get you to obstruct justice or perjure yourself about any little thing even if it is on a trumped-up charge, then you're toast. This has been the left's strategy from the beginning.
