I'm betting he was told not to let any of it through, perhaps by Gorelick herself, so that when it came to light that the information hadn't been seen by the commission, all of the commission members could just shrug, say, "Who knew?" and walk away while Deitrich took the heat. Along with Ms. Gorelick's mysterious phone call to Curt Weldon claiming she did nothing wrong, this is really heating up... I don't think Weldon believes she is innocent...

I read on another thread (one of the radio interviews w Curt today) Weldon said that Gorelick called Specter's office twice and said she didn't do anything wrong. 1st time I recall hearing that one. Me thinks she doest protest too much!
