The Navy gives us a pretty good run for our money, Air Force brother!
I was at Sheppard for tech school, and that's were they send the doctors and nurses to learn military protocol and all that stuff; I guess they don't have to go through OCS because they're in medicine. Watching a bunch of doctors and nurses trying to march is godawfully painful, especially when you're fresh from basic and know how to do it.
I doubt your basic training flight looked so great either, at first. I know my AF ROTC field training flight did not, but near the end we took the Drill award and got to wear the nice blue dickie for a week.
