I knew it was only a matter of time before "a true conservative" would come along and call himself that.

You can have your "true conservative" label. I won't no part of it, nor do I want to be associated with those who use it and their tactics.

I have noticed how many elections you folks have won.

The modern Republican Party is synonymous with conservatism.

Toadying crap-weasels like Ken Mehlman, Ed Gillespie, and Andy Card-and their shameless lickspittles-can excoriate conservatives to their heart's content.

They do so at their own peril.

I have noticed how many elections you folks have won.

Actually we have won quite a few, since most of the "red" states are probably composed of true conservatives, as opposed to the Whiney RINO Northeastern Rockefeller types. Think Snowe, DeWinne, Collins, Chaffee, Warner, Graham, and the special one, Insane McCain.

All of that still does not make the nominee more than mediocre, The Mediocre Miss Miers.
