Well here you are on FR as of 2004. But you know "Bush bots" eh?
I bought a couple of PEG's books in years ago.
She won't be able to depend on me as a customer again.
Good luck writing for the RATS, PEG.

The base is who goes to the polls and votes.
The people who are upset right now are the ones who blackmail the GOP with their votes all the time.

Something tells me that after the hurricane is finished, you and your anti-GOP, anti-Miers, anti-Bush brethren will not be rescue workers, but looters. Well that's a novel insult.
Signed,

It's not just 2004; it's AFTER Dan Rather.

I never mentioned the NCLB act - what are you referring to?
To: Cboldt
I will never understand why you find this a compelling argument.
But it's ever so evident to me why hyperbole doesn't win elections.

The people who are upset right now are the ones who blackmail the GOP ... Yeah ... damn, I missed the label "extortionist."
Isn't this a hoot! ;-)

I will never understand why you find this a compelling argument. I don't. It's not. I'm just playing games with insults. Lighten up. Geez. This is fun!

However, you don't usually win off year elections by splitting your base. By election time, this will be old news. If we're split a year from now it'll be something else that splits us.

Thanks for at least awarding my insult with the adjective "novel"!
And people accuse us Republicans (or in your words, bush-bots) as having neither imagination nor creativity. Pfft! :-)

As President of Miss Peggy's fan club, could you mention to her that the column was in very
Poor Taste. Oh, and to Get Off the President's Back
Thanks.

No Child Left Behind. If you didn't mention it, you're one of the few who haven't.

"It's not just 2004; it's AFTER Dan Rather." And that is what I will never understand. WHY in the H-E-double hockey sticks, the pundits on the "right", didn't get the "Dan Rather" lesson.
That you just cannot go on the air and in your columns and declare COMPLETE FALSEHOODS like the response to Katrina was too slow.

The people who are upset right now are the ones who blackmail the GOP with their votes all the time. I'm afraid your in denial. The Miers SCOTUS nomination is W's "read my lips no new taxes" moment. No one can seriously argue that she is a Scalia or Thomas. He can recover if Miers goes and a proven conservative jurist is appointed. Otherwise, the GOTV volunteers and cash donations will be fewer and farther between in 2006.
Probably most people like me are still going to vote conservative/republican but my cash will only go to people like Coburn and the Swifties. The RNC is going to get the United Way treatment from me.

"The Miers SCOTUS nomination is W's "read my lips no new taxes" moment." BWHAHAH. You wish. Not in my informal poll. Not in a long shot.
