Variants: "fringer," "reactionary," "extreme right," etc. They're trying to re-define "conservatism," in effect, as "fidelity to Bush and his Supreme Will." Insisting on fidelity to traditional conservative values and principles is, like, SO-O-O-O '80's, y'know...."
