Did the file type change when you saved or posted it? I think nearly all animated images are GIFs, and sometimes they only save as BMPs....you lose the animation then.
The site where I made the doll saves them as .png files. It's animated on their site, but not on my hard drive and not in the fokti album I load my stuff into online for posting.
