MARTINSVILLE - Former Attorney General and Republican gubernatorial nominee Jerry Kilgore will sponsor the "Kilgore for Governor" car at Martinsville Speedway's Nextel Cup Subway 500 Sunday as Virginia native Hermie Sadler will drive the Number 66 Ford Taurus powered by Roush-Yates racing. The Kilgore campaign logo has been featured on two other Nextel Cup cars this season, but this will mark the first time Kilgore's campaign has been the primary sponsor of a car. This is believed to be the first time a statewide candidate has ever been the primary sponsor of a Nextel Cup car. The Subway 500 begins at 1:00 p.m.
