"On a political messageboard online, one writer notes, "Who would have thought that Hillary's candidacy could be in trouble because she's not far enough to the left?""

Answer: those who cannot see through the organized charade of the left, which includes fake conflict between different leftist factions. Cindy is building Hillary's credibility where it counts---in the middle. it doesn't matter if Cindy knows what is going on or not. And even Cindy indicates that she will switch back to Hillary as soon as Hillary opposes the war.

This will happen at the right time in the right way. it will be a matter of subtle shifting, "gradually understanding how deep the problems are in Iraq," the product of deep study, talking to soldiers and experts, etc. Before election Day 11/2008, it will be clear to the densest Leftist that Hillary will pull us out of Iraq, if the left elected.

Perfectly correct. Hillary, who is running for POTUS right now, has a problem: she needs to capture the center while not alienating the loony Left. Answer: put people like Michael Moore and Cindy what's-her-name on the payroll to denounce her to the media. The NYT gets to run story after story about how 'moderate' Hillary is, and she doesn't have to make any definite statements that might get lefties' panties in a wad. Problem solved.
