think about it...

do you think there WOULDN'T be anyone from the armed forces there as a fan?

Do you think that MAYBE they wouldn't want a terrorist device to go off right in their own backyard??

Have you read those OU threads yet?

There are people from the armed forces all over the place. This reminds me of forcing Georgia Tech to close it reactor due to the proximity of the Olympics at direction/concern from the Olympic committee. Guess what. It never reopened. Was one of the best college research reactors in the nation. We seem to be running scared of our own shadows nowadays.

you could stay on subject, but I guess that is quite a bit to ask then huh?

NO ONE attemped ANYTHING on the GT nuclear reactor. Joel Hinrichs ATTEMPTED TO BLOW UP FOOTBALL FANS at a football game.

I guess you think that any heightened security at the airports, especially right after 9/11 was wrong too huh?

"Inside his bedroom in Norman were several used metal artillery shells -- the largest about 2 feet long. He had belts of used brass shell casings, a box of spent bullets and military ammo containers."

“The FBI has found no evidence so far that a University of Oklahoma student who died in a bombing Saturday night tried to get inside the football stadium or had ties to any terrorist organization,” and that “The FBI also has found no evidence anyone else was involved.”

Must everything be a conspiracy these days?

Suicide bombs don't just "go off".

Think about it.

Think about what would happen if they got in INTO an NFL or a Big Time College stadium.

These searches are warranted AND needed. Don't like it, blame the muzzies AND don't go. That easy.

Correct, he wasted himself.

Think about it.

I did. Still don't buy into a conspiracy.

Think about what would happen if they got in INTO an NFL or a Big Time College stadium.

Think what would happen if they got into a mall at xmas. Shall we include searches at those as well?

These searches are warranted AND needed. Don't like it, blame the muzzies AND don't go. That easy.

Flapdoodle. The searches are for booze. The rest is running scared IMHO. (BTW, I would go to the games even if there were no searches)

LOL

oook....

there is no conspiracy theory. Things are relatively out in the open, just your pals in the MSM aren't reporting them for you.

they COULD blow up a mall, but the people can be much more concentrated at a football stadium than a mall. Which means more damage, carnage and death, which is EXACTLY what they want.

So you tell me, what was Joel Hinrich's doing if he WASN'T trying to blow up people? hmmmmm?

So then, genius, WHY did he try to get into the stadium? WHY did he try to buy ammonium nitrate to make another bomb? Why was he attending a mosque regularly?

This wasn't just a suicide. If MSNBC was reporting this, would you believe it then? hmmmmm?

LOL

so being prudent and attempting to prevent a catastrophe is being "scared of your own shadow"?? LOL

amazing how some have forgotten 9/11 already and the VIGILENCE needed as these bastards come at us.

Guess we will have to agree to disagree on these searches. I do take the defense of this nation very seriously however.

Flapdoodle. The searches are for booze.

The searches are for food and drink. They don't want anyone failing to pay their big markup on concessions.

That isn't cynicism talking, BTW. It's a Philly tradition to bring hoagies to an Eagles game. When the Eagles got their new stadium, the practice was banned. They tried to claim it was a homeland security measure, but the truth leaked out and the fans went ape-scat. (IIRC, the NFL was partly behind it; they get their cut, too.)

WOW! I can see why the fans got up in arms! Big time!

I should add that the fans eventually won the day by two stone-cold facts: 1) clear plastic lunch bags obviate any security concerns and 2) getting between an Eagles fan and his hoagies is, as is said in Philly, "not a good career move".

My father woke me with that yell every morning of my life. I almost had a hissy when my wife and I went to the movies 25 years ago, and the Duke used it in the movie. It was de'ja vue all over again, and I had a chill run down my back. I'm glad you like my tagline, Thanks!
