My hubby saw a cougar yesterday while bowhunting in Lovettsville (northern Loudoun County). He wasn't quite quick enough with the digital camera to get a pic of it.
See: http://www.firstscience.com/site/articles/dobney.asp
for a new take on controlling wolves and coyotes. I like it.
Considering how stealthy and wary cougars are, just imagine how many *don't* get seen....but ~are~ out there.
*shudder*
Good plan but what happens when you run outta pigs?...:-I usually drink up and catch a cab.
*rimshot*
;))
They got under the fence after my emus once but the emus set them straight. I don't think they ever tried it again. The emus can gut you pretty quick (160 lbs of pissed off turkey!).
Trap liberals not coyotes.
