Driving that road must a harrowing experience on a good day, let alone when it is covered with ice! That road is the Park Road inside Denali National Park. It is only open in the summer. This year we won the road lottery and got to drive our own car in at the end of the season. Normally it is closed to private traffic; you have to take the tour bus.
