This is hardly new. Kids have been doing this for at least five or six years. I agree, pick your battles. This too will pass.

Ditto. Although I did put my foot down about church. My daughter wore pants ONCE to church and that was the end of that!

My daughter who graduated this year used to do that. Drove me crazy. But she made good grades, very involved in school, teachers (for the most part) liked her a lot, and she's in college now. We do indeed need to pick our battles. Of course, there are days I would love to come to work in PJs if we could. LOL
