Unfortunately it's too late. The self described leaders of the conservative movement, by making this all about Bush and disregarding the failure of the Republican Congress, are simply dividing their margin of victory in a national election and letting the Republican Congress off the hook. How that is an effective political or ideological strategy, I'll never know but I suppose it will provide them great conversation at cocktail parties and great income opportunities once a Democrat takes the White House. It's good for business you know, not victory.
