Yup. was just going to post that. Cantore's on his way probably , of course, to "Ft. Myers beach". The Cape gets the bare-mention every time, lol. Representing CAPE CORAL here, not Ft. Myers, not Naples, not Sarasota, guess I'm the only one-though I haven't checked every post. Have been here since this thread started, I am ALWAYS on FR, every day for over 4 yrs. Many prayers going out to all! (wink) Even us here in Cape Coral!! ;)

PS: And my biggest laugh of the day came from a guy on the local radio who said, "If Whoraldo or that bald guy from the weater channel shows up here, I'm leaving town right away!: LOL!!

That would be you and me both. I reside in the Cape, too. Stay safe!

Damn. Good luck; the consensus has you right in the crosshairs (I don't think it really ever left).

I grew up in Cape Coral, my parents still live there. I'm in Tampa now. They were hit pretty hard with Charley - and it was one of the worst 12 hours of my life not knowing what was going on with them. Hopefully this one will not directly hit Punta Gorda/Cape Coral/Fort Myers - there are so many homes that have still not been repaired. Let alone the hundreds of FEMA trailers still at the Charlotte County airport. Stay safe.
