No illegal immigration crackdown during Bush's administration.

I saw a posting from Real Clear politics that spelled out how Bush had sold out conservatives that got yanked today. Lack of immigration enforcement was mentioned.

Yeah let's run those evil businesses(that also provide millions of jobs for Americans) that build things and grow food, etc., into the ground.(/sarc)

BTW, you do know that 40 million native born Americans have taken out of the workforce since 1973, due to abortion.

cost prohibitive?
cost prohibitive?

give me a friggin' break!!!

it's costing the border states upwards of 15 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR to allow these illegals to stay here and this clown is trying to tell us we can't afford to deport them?

One third of all the incarcerated in America are illegals!
It's costing every state in the union eight thousand dollars a year to educate each and every one of their children and I won't even get into the cost of food stamps and hospitalization which is causing hospitals to close all over America!

And this clown is trying to tell us we can't afford to deport them?

Hell, we can't afford to keep the little bastards!!!

DEPORT THEM ALL!

Ike did it, so can Bush!

gezzzzzzzzzzz louise!

Semper Fi,
Kelly

Both true. What's the problem?

We need to enforce zero tolerance for illegal immigration while increasing and streamlining legal immigration (possibly including guest worker).

And don't give me any garbage about that just increasing illegal immigration. If it's enforced, it'll be just a trickle of drug dealers etc that the cops will be able to handle.

I think you're talking about an article I posted from Real Clear Politics.

It got pulled because it was a duplicate.

And your plan it to replace those 40 million lost workers with illegal Mexican immigrants Dane? I think you will run into some opposition on that one.

The problem is he doesn't offer the solution of building a barrier on the border. Until then any immigration regulation talk is pure rhetoric to kill time and allow more illegals to enter the US.

I have no problem with legal immigrants.

Where did I say "illegal". I'm all for a guest worker plan(Kyl/Cornyn), that doesn't lead to citizenship(If they want to be a citizen they go to the back of the line).

Bush was bought and sold by business - he could care less about national security or the honest American worker. Bush has been a complete failure except for the war with Iraq.

I'm watching this too and it's truly sickening. A complete sellout of our country.

I was in a 300 home new construction project last week. Every construction worker I saw was from south of the border and I'm not talking about South Carolina.

Was there zero tolerance for illegal immigration?

No?

Well then it ain't the same thing, is it?

No policy will work if it's not enforced!
