"The Federal Emergency Management Agency has issued more than $1.5 billion to 607,000 Katrina victims in the form of individual cash handouts of $2,000. There are no restrictions on how the money can be spent, FEMA officials said."
Double Dang.

And what happens after they're done p*ssing all this money away? They'll cry and whine and then scream racism when they don't get another 2K.

Why the ---- doesn't Uncle Sugar return to the day's of having centrally located food banks. The "victim" takes his or her ID card to the door along with his or her voucher and receives food and clothing from the "taxpayer subsidized" store.
But nooooooo! That would place the "victim" into an unnecessarily "embarrassing and "demoralizing" situation.
So instead, "Uncle Sugar" takes, not requests...my hard earned cash, that should go towards raising well mannered children and for their college, that will create good little citizens....and hands it to Pieces of SH!T.
Everyone knew this would happen. Republicans trying to buy Democratic votes.
BTW, thanks for getting this victims blood pressure up this AM. Sheeesh.
