So instead of believing that the Iraqi's voted their hearts, we get the corruption, illegal spin.

The left will stop at nothing to promote their agenda!

Heard a montage by Rush today, all the talkers were saying that this election isn't important it's the one on Dec 15th.

I heard the same thing back in January!

There was something a bit peculiar about this "constitution" vote - the "constitution" was to have some substantial revisions AFTER the Iraqis voted on it... so the document they voted on wasn't going to be the "real" document?

What an absurd article, it uses Jesse Jackson logic.

Fallujah voted no by 95% to 5% and this is a sign of strong opposition ... but many other provinces and most of the country racks up support levels of 70% to 90% and that is *not* a sign of strong support for the constitution by most Iraqis ... no, its a sign that the enemy of the constitution can jump up and shout fraud. Pathetic.

This was Iraq's second open and free election, and already the baathists sound like Democrats and the Democrats sound like baathists.

showing unexpected ratios of "yes" to "no" votes from some parts of the country.

Sunnis who voted yes were higher than expected. So much for the conventional (read biased MSM) wisdom.

"so the document they voted on wasn't going to be the "real" document?"

That's more MSM bias and spin.

The document is real, it's a Constitution and it is the founding document of the new Iraqi Government.

The Constitutional changes that wer made recently to mollify the Sunnis make it easier to make amendments. The Constitution was originally unamendable for 8 years. Now it can be amended after 5 months. There is no specific amendments defined.

Funny, but *EVERY* Constitution has provisions for amendments. the MSM makes it sound like this constitution 'doesnt count' because, horrors, it could actually be modified.

They just keep moving the goal posts.

I'm watching the fall of Berlin on the History channel right now. Today's media doesn't sound all that different from the German propoganda.

Therefore the real vote must be on Dec 15th. I don't know much about elections but I do know if people be they Christians, Jews, Buddists or Muslims are given a chance to be free will usually vote affirmative.

The MSM didn't expect Bush to win based on the early exit polling last November either. If the MSM doesn't like the results of an election then they question it.

Probably true, but I think this makes the chance of success on Dec 15 better.

"Sunnis who voted yes were higher than expected. So much for the conventional (read biased MSM) wisdom."

I seem to remember Democrats yelling that Kerry won because the early exit polls said so. This sounds similar. Democrats and Baathists. Birds of a feather.
