Shocking and disturbing how far this country has fallen. Imagine, a father casting a spell on his own daughter!

That's actually quite tame....if Islam were involved, the father would likely participate happily in the stoning. I think that one extremely important measure of a society and a culture is how they treat their women. If they do stuff like stoning them and burning them alive and forced body disfigurement etc. etc then I'm pretty quick to put them in the "worthless culture that needs overthrowing and reform" column.
