My favorite Reaganism was..."When you are up to your ass in alligators, it is hard to remember your original job was to drain the swamp!". It would do Mr. Bush wonders to pontificate in a similar manner, with a little humor but making a good point in fact. If you smile when you tell someone to go to hell, they will go crazy wondering if you were serious or not. Try it, it really works!!
Pardon me, but I think George Bush is cheerful and up beat. He always has some jokes at the press corp when they ask dumb questions (which is all the time) He always works a group of people "pressing the flesh" with smiles and lifted spirits. I think your criticism misses the mark.
