"What will happen if Europe and other countries decide to build their own internet? Does it mean our current internet will compete with theirs?"

It means those countries will heavily tax and censor their version of the internet and forcibly prevent their citizens from attempting to use the better U.S. internet via threat of legal sanctions and imprisonment. In other words, they'll muck it all up.

Yeah.. I think the legal sanctions may work... Technically, as I said before, I think it's possible for any country today to block the internet. Afterall, the Chinese has been doing it...
