Victory in Iraq is when the Iraqis can take care of themselves and their new government.
But don't be a simplistic sap. We'll have support bases in Iraq for the next 20 years, just as we did and do have bases in Germany, England, and Japan.
First, with Abu Dijana out of commission there's really no one to keep updating the site. It would become clear to his site visitors pretty quickly that something had gone wrong. "Hiding" his capture wouldn't be very effective, IMO, and we don't really know when he was captured, so maybe word had already gone out among his site "members" that something was awry due to the lack of updates.
Second, the web server itself will be a treasure trove of intelligence information. It obviously contains all the usernames and passwords, and hopefully extensive web server logs showing the IP addresses of its users. Also, if the video and photo materials were emailed directly to the site, the source IP of those emails will show up as well. Gulp.
The users of this site need to know that their footprints have been uncovered, and that potentially all sites have been compromised and put them in the spotlight of military intelligence (Iraqi, American, Brit, etc.)
No, IP addresses don't necessarily point to a single individual, but they do bring the jihadis one step closer to exposure. There must be 4,000 very paranoid site "members" out there right now.
I suggest you continue to lurk and let everyone think your an idiot rather than typing a post thus proving you're an idiot.
Yes, but I'll bet the imbecile is still lurking... so Viking Kittie Zot away!
The only attempt at fact presenting I saw from the Troll was that casualities are going up.
He she it cited a website that purports to show how everything is bad and wrong in Iraq because of casualities, now, as well as in the past. Then the Troll said we can't refute anything. Pardon me, who decided that the SOLE measurement of a War's success is casualities? That is plain stupid.
You can blow up people who are standing in line on a street corner. Horrible, horrible, horrible thing to do. You can kill Americans with a roadside bomb. Does that mean you are "winning"?
Only according to the MSM and the Teddy Kennedy types.
Talk about stuck on stupid.

Ritter's statement, September 3, 1998 "Iraq could be only days or weeks away from having nuclear weapons if it acquires the needed plutonium or bomb-grade uranium on the black market or by other means." Ritter also said that, absent UNSCOM, Iraq could reconstruct its chemical and biological weapons programs in six months, as well as its missile program. He said that Iraq had a plan for achieving a missile breakout within six months of receiving the signal from Saddam Hussein.
You want to talk job approval ratings? I suggest you try doing some research into approval ratings at this point of time in the second term of the last several presidents, all the way back to Carter. They are all lower than Bush's at this time.
Now for you my little troll. The thing that I find the most unacceptable in you is that good American soldiers are having to put THEIR lives on the line to defend your sorry assed carcass and your right to post your psychological failings.
Be gone idiot, and don't come back until you've at least reached your 16th birthday. Fool.
Icasualties.org??
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!
It really isn't our fault if you are unable to understand the large picture and concept. My, the DUmmies are up early this morning.
Yes, 2000 casualties in Iraq proves we are not winning the war there, but 20,000 casualties at Trinian was just the opening bid to win World War II in the Pacific against Japan, and 10,000 at Normandy was the opening bid to win the War in Europe against Hilter.
As you say. Casualties don't prove one is going to win or lose. They are earnest money for buying the house of Freedom.
*shrugs*
I was somewhat amused by the troll and his repeat statement of "Delete away!"
Like we aren't going to know who he is...
Wonder where and as what else he'll return?
