Allen never said that!
Don't be so willing to believe anything section9 says.

Rush has already said publically that he's leaning towards Allen.

And .. she is not a strong supporter of Israel.
At this time in history, American cannot afford to be on the wrong side of Israel. I'm waiting to see what she has to say after she visits there in the next few days. It better be pro Israel .. or she will be off my list.

I've never really understood why she is "on" anybody's list.

My home Senator and former Governor....he can go all the way but needs to get out there and be seen nationally!

Right now he is my pick of the litter for 08!

Allen has been doing a lot on the national level lately.

...I think that even though there is a "bias" against Senators, the fact that he was a Governor first, should help him...
Hello,
If Hill is the Dem pick, and Allen is the Rep pick, this will be a non-issue. Of course, you are right about Sen. Allen having the experience of both the Senate and Governorship. This should be interesting!

Well, Dick Morris seems to think she is the ONLY one that would have a chance to beat Hillary...
Personally, I think Morris is really working for Hillary...but is making a buck on his stupid book...to make it look like he isn't.
Re: Condi..I don't know enough about her to make a decision...but, I have read somethings that she has said in speeches regarding the Palestinian/Israeli problem...that have bothered me...she seems TOO accomodating to the Palestinians..and hasn't come down hard enough on Abu Mazen to make Hamas and others stop their terrorist acts.

Good to know....I don't watch national news much anymore. I first met Allen at a rally at a home in Great Falls Virginia, when he was running for Governor....boy, was he impressive. He totally electrified the place!

I have never believed that Dick Morris is actually an enemy of the Klintoons, I think this is all part of their plan. If Morris had really turned against the Arkansas Mafia, his life would have been destroyed by now.

BTW, I picked Allen a few years ago on this site before he was as well known. Hope he carries the ball.

Well, duh...I am so dumb...of course, if it is Hillary v. Allen it wouldn't be a factor.
Okay...I have had long day...but that is no excuse..LOL
Thanks for pointing that out...but, like you said---since that would be a "push"...Allen having been a Governor would help...
Of course, you KNOW that Hillary will run as an ex-co-Governor...and an ex-co-POTUS...blech

I don't watch the news either, but I know some people who are close to Allen and from everything they say he sure sounds like a candidate. I knew the first time I met him that he could be POTUS.

I first met Allen back in 1993 when he was running for governor, I knew then that he would go a lot further.

Great point---
I know I don't trust him...and I have never liked him.
I think there are just WAY too many people that have daily contact with the MSM---on the air, writing editorials and news stories...that have a "relationship" with Hillary, for ANY GOP candidate to get a fair shot in the Media.

Hello,
Well, that is only one potential outcome, as Hill will have (IMHO) an uphill battle to get the nod from the Dems. I say that because the far-left-wing-nuts are ticked at her due to her "pro-war" stance. On the other hand, they are used to getting a nod and wink as their candidate lies to the rest of us about their true colors. This is going to be interesting, and the only way I can imagine getting through it with my sanity intact is by living it with all of you.
Glad to be here, MOgirl
