Yeah, that's right, just right off the whole conservative base. Who needs 'em right? They're all a bunch of attention-seeking, crybabies. All they did was serve as some of the spokespersons and leaders and served as front people of a revolution that brought us a GOP Congress and a GOP White House.

And besides, they don't speak for ANYONE. All their audiences/readers/followers HATE THEM and LOVE BUSH.

Hugh Hewett sure is going to get a big increase in market share.

"All they did was serve as some of the spokespersons and leaders and served as front people of a revolution that brought us a GOP Congress and a GOP White House."

I have always respected the conservative movement. I have even been grateful for it. But when "conservatives" launch an attack on the only party that can conceivably be effective in advancing conservative causes, not to mention on the president and a nominee who does NOT deserve it, and to some extent, in my opinion, on the constitutional process ... then they become "former conservatives" to me.

I do not begrudge you your right to your opinion. I just want you to respect the president's prerogative, the process for confirmation, and my right as a citizen to learn about the nominee before you destroy her. For the record, I HATE this rift in the party. And that's why I'm talkin' so much today. ;-) I don't want to write ANYone off. Wish you felt the same.
