Anybody's guess, but the official meteorologists word is that Oct 15 is about the end of it.

Officially, the North Atlantic Tropical Season lasts through November 30th.

Whill activity gradually declines through October there's nothing magical about October 15th. There have been Category 5 hurricanes after October 15th, and US hurricane hits after October 15th.

I guess # 24 didn't get the word:') I know we have had storms in Nov though.

In 30 years of living in the Florida Keys, we've been hit with a number of late October and November storms.

Kate and Irene are two that come to mind.
