Yeah and I am totally sick of this crap. we are about 300 or 400 or miles north of all the action and already under the influence of a low pressure system. We have had 1,000 inches of rain so far this summer, and no cold fronts,we need a break.

Hurricane season officially runs through November 30th. There are fewer storms later in the season, but it runs from June 1 through November 30.

Yeah. It's no big deal though.
As the other poster stated, different people say different things. The records show storms in Nov and Dec but the season normally (haha) over about this time..

Oh, Yes.

Please add me to your "wine ping" list. I'm getting tired of hurricanes. I will be spending some time in Virginia Beach next week. Any potential for nasty weather there soon?

I used to live in coastal Louisiana and southeast Texas and have experienced several "canes". I'll take a good old South Dakota blizzard any day.

"Heads up Gulf Coast Freepers..."

I don't have time for a hurricane.

I'm getting ready for a Flu Pandemic and then...maybe an earthquake, lol.
