The welfare pushers and poverty pimps rob the poor of the incentive to stand on their own two feet. You have to crawl before you walk, and you have to walk before you can run. But before you can take that first step toward freedom and independence, you first have to learn to stand on your own two feet. Resting on your laurels or a check from the government is a one way ticket to perdition.
