I hear you about a lot of female cops. I can tell you that I work with two that can kick ass and do the job, though. Of course, I work with one that I hope won't show up on a call so that I only have to concentrate on the nitwits who are already there...
I've got a new kid who is three months out of the police academy. He and I had to clear a house the other night. The kid decided to follow me room-to-room. I turned around and his weapon was pointed at my chest... What are ya gonna do?
My prayers are with you.
Sorry, I feel that way about ALL female cops.
I remember a long time ago in my hometown, they hired a couple of lady cops. Whenever they pulled someone over, a male cop would back them up... so, what's the sense?
Not only that, but when they had a big guy pulled over, they looked terrified.
Sorry, but I don't care how 'good' these lady cops are. If I wanted to, I could disarm them both and hurt them badly. So could most other guys. Even if they are both bigger than me and one has her gun drawn.
Maybe the lady cops you know can issue summonses to little old ladies or ticket double parked grannies, but they cannot take down a man who doesn't want to play nice. They WILL have to resort to firearms to defend themselves from a man, and should not be in a job where they may have to intervene in many situations containing emotionally fired human aggression and violence.
About that rookie kid that was pointing his weapon at your chest! Oh MY GOD! How can you put up with that idiot!
